We are based at Star Line Boats, Boot Wharf, who produce top quality steel boats in the town of Nuneaton, Warwickshire. We have easy road access just off the A444 dual carriageway near to the George Eliot Hospital, on Bullring by bridge 20 of the Coventry Canal. Our site has a main building that pre-dates the canal, with three floors housing our offices and chandlery on the ground floor, electrical and wood workshop areas on the first floor, and storage on the top floor. A large attached ground floor shop is used for boatbuilding and painting.
Luxury 41ft Dayboats - 'Elena' & 'George'
‘Elena’ and ‘George’ are 41ft narrowboats which has been built from new at Star Line Boats and is fully equipped for day hire to give customers a one day “taste of the canals”. The boats are fully described in the Facilities and Gallery pages.

Boot Wharf is in an ideal location as a starting point for a one day cruise as there are three possible destinations
- Heading north along the Coventry canal takes you through Nuneaton to Hartshill, Mancetter, and Atherstone, with views of the quarry, then open views across the valley of the River Anker.
- Heading south along the Coventry canal takes you through Attleborough, Hilltop, Bedworth, through a cutting to Hawkesbury where there is the popular Greyhound pub. The views are mainly rural once the housing of Nuneaton is passed by.
- Heading south along the Coventry canal then turning onto the Ashby canal takes you through rural countryside past Marston Jabett, Burton Hastings, across the River Anker valley to Hinckley, where there is the Lime Kilns pub on the A5, and the restaurant at Trinity Marina.
